About Talayeh Tabriz, MS, RDN

I’m Talayeh Tabriz—Tala for short—the heart behind TalaNutrition, where evidence-based nutrition meets real life. I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutritional Science, specializing in digestive disorders and cardio-metabolic health.

My clinical focus includes IBS, IBD, SIBO, GERD, and laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), as well as cardio- metabolic health, and weight optimization. I work with individuals navigating complex symptoms who want clarity, structure, and sustainable strategies—not restriction or trends.

This work is also deeply personal. Having navigated my own digestive health challenges, I understand how disruptive gut symptoms can be—not just physically, but socially and emotionally. That lived experience informs how I practice: with empathy, precision, and a strong emphasis on quality of life.

I earned my Master’s degree in Nutrition in Los Angeles, California and completed my dietetic internship through Sodexo at USC Arcadia, where I gained extensive clinical experience working with medically complex patients. Today, I collaborate closely with physicians, gastroenterologists, cardiologists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure nutrition care complements medical treatment.

My approach looks beyond symptoms alone. Digestive health is deeply connected to cardiovascular health, metabolism, inflammation, mental health, and pelvic floor function. I help clients understand these connections and apply nutrition in a way that feels practical, empowering, and sustainable.

A love for travel and exploring cultures through food also shapes my philosophy. I believe nutrition should support living fully—enjoying meals, traveling confidently, and participating in life without constant fear of flare-ups.

Let's navigate this journey together!
